Taylor is so much cooler than me....

I am back and attempting to catch up on the bloggin world.

APRIL 2009

TAYLOR IS SO MUCH COOLER THAN ME!
I love it when my kids show me the things that I tried to do are totally possible! Of course, she is not cooler than Clint, but she is cooler than me.

Our oldest daughter Taylor graduated from BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY! We are so proud of her accomplishment. She has a bachelors degree in Health Education with a coaching and pe minor. I would love to have her for a teacher or coach! Her enthusiasm is contagious and her creativity knows no boundaries.

If you will notice our happy smiles in these pictures it's because we felt like the little southern girls on the 1970's commercial for shake and bake...who said "Its shayke and bayke and we haylped!"

The truth be told she did it (mostly) on her own. We sent her to school with a lap top, then a car and sometimes sent money, yes, but she also had an academic scholarship, a job, and her senior year a husband and a church calling too. (Zach was also in school and working to support them). She is the one that got the good grades and maintained the scholarship all the days. She is the one that wrote her missionary, played quarterback, pranked , did apartment olympics, made crazy videos, went to football games, worked, married her missionary, revitalized the nursery then organized fun ward activities for the starving marrieds all while she studied her little guts out....like I said ......so much cooler than me.

So now she closes the BYU chapter of her life. She moves on to bigger and better things. She met professors and a great family of girls in the freshman dorms and in Womens Intramural Football that she is still friends with to this day. These BYU Cougars will forever be in her heart and on her life list of best friends. (Shout out to the Ten Tribes and the Regulators) As a parent I am so grateful for those people who made Taylors BYU life feel like she was surrounded by family.

Right now she is in Hawaii vacationing with her husband and his family. (poor girl) Then their next adventure is Southern Virginia University (Yes in Virginia!) where she will work and Zach will play football and finish up his college, also on scholarship, but that's another post! Hooray for education money!

PS Taylor was born in Orem Utah when her dad was finishing up at BYU. He graduated 20 years ago. 1989. Taylor was almost 3.
