Dad and I stopped by Salt Lake City on the 23rd on our way to pick Spencer up from EFY and didn't stop at the Pioneer Day parade the next day on the 24th(I'm bitter) But we did see the temple grounds and it is still beautiful and awe inspiring.
Pyper's good friend was in town for her sisters wedding and they reunited on the trampoline with a little air guitar...Yea rock on Jaden and the Pypes. Kansas is too far away!
We've had several puzzle marathons with Grandma at her assisted living place. She is feeling well most days.
We toured the capitol building for Kanons scouting something or other and it was a great family home evening! It's new remodel has really made it shine.
Then....road trip to beautiful Payette Lake in McCall. We played in the water...every kind. A pool, ther river, the lake. Spencer's hair was beautiful like Pocahontas as the wind blew. (it's a cartoon) The family rented bikes and rode around Ponderosa Campground. Kanon and I made it up to the overlook...It's gorgeous! I was having helmet bangs however.....not so gorgeous. I love outside. The next day I was in pain....deep pain. My muscles were not used to the abuse. Thank you for Ibuprofen.
and the most exciting of all for Kanon....his very own LaCrosse stick. name this movie "better to be a silly girl with a flower than a silly boy with a horse and a stick" hahahaha we love this boy with his stick.

We like how Pyper is standing 3 feet up from Kanon in the bell picture, yet she is only sllllliiiiiiiightly taller than Kanon.
The Pocahontas hair is straight up FABalus girl. jus fabalus!
Looks like a fabulous summer! You guys know how to make everything fun. I'm excited to hear about Kanon's LaX stick! It is such a fun game to watch.
Helmet bangs are the worst.
