GIRLS CAMP ROCKS!

BE A BELIEVING EXAMPLE! Look at these girls shine! They are all good examples of how to have a good time while obeying the rules.

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies!

Each of the wards in our stake were a different gem stone. there were diamonds, emeralds, jade, rubies, sapphire, etc. We were a brillant blue lapis lazuli! If you have never heard of it..I am not surprised. I hadn't either But ..Its real! Sister wycherly wears a beautiful lapis lazuli ring that her son gave her from South america !

This stake camp is the first in a long time that I have not been directly involved in except to attend. Even though I sometimes felt nervous (like I should be doing more) Girls camp was great. We survived. As a matter of fact we thrived! Here you see the girls horse back riding, after our skit (three people with one as the face, one for arms and one for legs) swimming their water ballet.....making an angel Moroni from stuff we had in the camp. All the wards built a temple from sheets and pvc.

Hardly a mosquito in sight. Good weather. Music (thanks Jillyn), Obedient fun girls and sweet programs and certifications. Our youth camp leaders were funny and favorites. Our skit was hilarious and very messy. Our water ballet was ....well....horrible yet...humorous. the hike was pleasant along the lakeside. We even got to horseback ride at our bishops brothers cabin! The bishop spoiled us further by cooking teriaki salmon and cheesy potatoes for us. This was definitely a camp I could get used to.

There is my sweetie daughter spencer with the red cap and thumbs up. You'd never know by looking at her that she is a girly girl that likes clothes and make up and nail polish...She is great fun at camp. I think her tent was the loudest laughing tent every night. ugh. yawn.

I have been to alot of girls camps but,

I have never been so tired and so dirty at camp before. Isnt that the idea?

One thing about girls camp....it bonds us further as sisters in the gospel and it sure makes you appreciate showers and beds.
